ONLY YOUR SUPPORT CAN KEEP US THERE.
The North West Air Ambulance Charity makes a lifesaving difference to people in emergencies across the North West, bringing the hospital to the patient. As a charity, we rely solely on the generosity of people like you. With your support, we can carry on being there.
We’re there for over 8 million people, covering an area of 5,500 square miles. Our helicopters and critical care vehicles operate every day of the year. We bring highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics to patients, providing enhanced pre-hospital care.
Patients are at the heart of everything we do. If you wonder why we need your support, this is the best place to start. Hear from them about the impact you can make.
Ruby had just finished her first day at high school and while riding her pony, Nero, she suffered a horrific accident. Ruby was thrown under his feet and trampled on, sustaining injuries to her face and body. She also lost a lot of blood from a facial injury and started to drift in and out of consciousness.
We’re not part of the NHS and we don’t receive any government funding. Explore ways to support our lifesaving work below, so we can be there when you need us.
Be part of our crew and join Team NWAA. The money you raise will make a lifesaving difference.
Without volunteers, we wouldn’t be there. Together we can make a difference.
Starting with one helicopter in 1999, we’ve grown a lot since then. With a base in Barton and Blackpool, we now have three helicopters and four critical care vehicles. We’re here 365 days a year, for when you or your loved ones need us most.
