The North West Air Ambulance Charity has announced a new member of their Corporate Crew, A&B Engineering.
The Liverpool-based construction firm has joined the lifesaving charity’s exclusive club for businesses, after a visit to their Barton Airbase.
The team at A&B Engineering saw firsthand the lifesaving work that NWAA does on a day-to-day basis during their visit.
Mike Hart, Managing Director of A&B Engineering said: “The Corporate Crew is a partnership initiative that benefits the charity and its members. By joining, members can contribute towards saving lives in the North West through fundraising, donations and spreading awareness about the charity’s vital services.”
Rachel Bates, Corporate and Trusts Manager at NWAA said: “We’re delighted that A&B Engineering is joining our Corporate Crew, a business members club that supports our lifesaving work by coming together collaboratively to make a difference.
“A&B will be our first company joining from the construction industry and as we are called to the most serious accidents and road traffic collisions this really resonated with them because of the work they do. It was a pleasure to invite Mike and Dawn to our base recently to meet the crew and see our operations firsthand.”
By joining the charity’s Corporate Crew, members will be directly supporting the specialist team, 365 days a year, to bring the hospital to the patient and provide lifesaving care.
