Wingwalks have been around for over 100 years and started off with an Army Pilot who first saw the potential commercial appeal of Wingwalking. Wingwalking was seen as an extreme form of Barnstorming and then moved onto Flying Circuses. Eventually Flying Circuses were banned by the American Government to promote commercial transport flying.
By choosing us to do your Wingwalk you will be helping keep our helicopters fuelled, our crew equipped and our operation ready to save lives. We receive no government or NHS funding and rely solely on donations. Our helicopters and critical care vehicles operate 365 days a year, with highly skilled specialist doctors and critical care paramedics providing enhanced pre-hospital care. Each year we must raise over £18 million to remain operational.
