The North West Air Ambulance Charity’s website has scooped the Good Web Guide Awards 2021 Charity Website of the Year at their annual awards ceremony.

The Good Web Guide Awards celebrates the best websites from across the UK, in a range of different categories. A panel of judges including industry experts, former GWG Website of the Year winners, journalists and digital leaders, selected the NWAA site out of a strong shortlist of charity websites.

Redesigned in 2021 with the help of web design company Connect Internet Solutions, the aim of the new NWAA website is to tell the story of the charity’s lifesaving work to a wider audience, make the site user friendly for users and help raise more money through online donations.

Heather Arrowsmith, CEO at North West Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We are delighted to receive the award for Charity Website of the Year 2021. When we created our new website, our main aim was to tell the stories of our patients, staff and fundraisers to encourage more people to support and donate to the work we do.

“I’d like to say a big thank you to the staff who worked to make this project such a success, and to Connect Internet Solutions for creating a site that reflects the great work of everyone involved in our charity.”
