Lift off Lotto winners
I have never won anything in my life! It’s the only charity I give to – I have a big family and you never know what will happen and this service may be needed in my family.
My father was with the walking club, had a fall and the North West Air Ambulance Charity came and brought him to the hospital – we were happy with the service. We would like to use the winnings to buy a brick from the Liverpool Cathedral in memory of my father.
I was coming home from work and couldn’t believe I had won so I called the charity to confirm I had won and they said ‘YES you’re a winner!’. I’m planning to have a big family holiday for daughter’s birthday with the grandchildren and husband in a lovely large cottage with a hot tub!
There’s been one or two emergency responses in the area and I also knew of someone that have been picked up by the air ambulance. They do a very good job and should be sponsored and paid for by the government, as they are essential.
Raffle winners
I’m 103 now and I’ve supported the North West Air Ambulance Charity for many years – I donated my winnings back into the charity.
I couldn’t believe I’d won – and the money couldn’t have come at a better time!
